German-based investment and asset manager Corpus Sireo has announced it acquired 12 properties across Germany totalling €130 mln for its healthcare funds in 2016.
'We currently have €400 mln available in Health Care Funds for additional transactions, and this amount is set to increase. The focus continues to be on medical care centres, assisted living and care homes across Germany,' commented Sebastian Schlansky, Corpus Sireo’s head of acquisitions in the healthcare segment.
Five properties were acquired for Health Care Fund II, including a care home development project with 88 beds in Papenburg; four for Health Care Fund III, launched in 2015, including the Lusanum centre in Ludwigshafen (pictured) and three for 2016's Health Care Fund IV, which focuses on assisted living.
'Demand for investors is high: funds in this segment offer above-average stability and wide risk distribution,' concluded Schlansky.
