The Colgne-based multi-disciplinary firm, part of Swiss Life Asset Managers, said it has acquired new properties and management mandates worth more than €3.6 bn in the 12-month period from June 2015 to June 2016.

'We have launched four new funds since 2012 and also perform various consulting mandates for institutional investors,' commented Bernhard Berg, Corpus Sireo's CEO. 'We intend to significantly increase this rate over the coming years, particularly by taking advantage of our opportunities with pension funds more actively. In addition, we wish to tap new markets in Scandinavia, Eastern Europe and Austria. This may be done through investments in these regions or by establishing new branches.'

Corpus Sireo said that it was planning new fund products for investor groups in Germany, and had applied for a licence for a Germany asset management business, which should be approved in the fourth quarter of 2016.

Together with Swiss Life Asset Managers' other businesses in Switzerland, France and Germany, the company now manages its own and third-party assets with a total value of more than €63 bn throughout Europe.
