Corpus Sireo Investment Management has made its fourth acquisition for the Corpus Sireo Health Care Fonds II with the purchase of the Seniorenresidenz am Wölper Ring care home in the town of Neustadt am Rübenberge in Lower Saxony, Germany. The vendor is Bremen-based VIT. Financial details were kept confidential.

The fund was launched in late 2011 and is dedicated to institutional investors.

The elderly care home is let to Seniorenresidenz Wölper Ring, a subsidiary of Silver Care Holding based in Munich. The retirement home was constructed in 2008 and features a total of 90 single- and 20 double-occupancy rooms. The complex, which extends over roughly 5,200 m2, currently has an occupancy rate of 97%.

'Following the acquisition of care homes in the towns of Otzberg and Babenhausen in Hesse, and in Neukirchen-Vluyn in North Rhine-Westphalia, we are pleased to have successfully transacted yet another high-end acquisition,' commented fund manager Marc-Philipp Martins Kuenzel.

The buyer was advised by law firm Olswang.
