Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers has been appointed by New York-based Oppenheimer Funds Inc. (OFI) to manage its newly launched Global Real Estate Fund.
Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers has been appointed by New York-based Oppenheimer Funds Inc. (OFI) to manage its newly launched Global Real Estate Fund.
The fund will be managed by Cornerstone's Global Real Estate Securities unit led by managing director David Wharmby.
Cornerstone also manages the Oppenheimer Real Estate Fund, which was launched in 2002 and typically invests in US real estate securities.
The Global Real Estate Fund will invest in a portfolio of real estate companies in a range of geographic markets and property types, and will include exposure to both developed and emerging markets.
