Global real estate investment manager Cornerstone has appointed two new managing directors, based in London and Chicago, to spearhead further growth in the firm’s global real estate platform.
Global real estate investment manager Cornerstone has appointed two new managing directors, based in London and Chicago, to spearhead further growth in the firm’s global real estate platform.
Albert Yang has joined as managing director and head of business development for Europe, based in London.
He previously spent four years with JP Morgan Asset Management, where he served as executive director of global real assets (GRA) responsible for capital raising, investor relations and business development for institutional investors in the EMEA region. During his more than 14 years in European real estate asset management, Yang has also held positions at Henderson Global Investors, Schroder Property Investment Management and Deutsche Property Asset Management.
In the US, Cornerstone has appointed Joy Winterfield as managing director of global portfolio management, based in Chicago. She joins the firm after eight years at Allstate Investments, serving most recently as director of global private equity real estate where she led strategy development and investment for the growth of a portfolio of private equity real estate funds. At Cornerstone she will also form part of the firm’s global executive team.
Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers is one of the largest global real estate investment managers with almost $50 bn in assets under management.
