Cornerstone Real Estate Advisers has appointed J.D. Sitton as managing director of business development.
He will succeed Graham Bond, who retires as global head of business development on 30 August 2015 after seven years at Cornerstone and more than 35 years in the real estate investment industry.
Sitton will join Cornerstone on 7 July and work closely with Bond to ensure a smooth transition before the latter steps down.
'We are delighted to have J.D. join Cornerstone during an exciting period of global growth, including the expansion of our European footprint into Germany last year, which is soon to be followed by the addition of offices in Spain, France, and Italy,' said Scott Brown, global president and CEO of Cornerstone.
Sitton brings over 20 years of experience to the role during which he worked with institutional real estate investors both in the US and globally. He joins the firm after 13 years with JPMorgan Asset Management, where most recently he served as managing director and client portfolio manager of marketing and client relations within its global real assets group.
