Amsterdam-listed shopping centre specialist Corio has sold four non-core retail properties and one office building for a total of €118 mln.

The disposals in the Netherlands and France were carried out in the last quarter of 2012 and reported on 2 January.

In the Netherlands, Corio sold the 8,900 m2 GLA Nesselande retail asset in Rotterdam, Getsewoud (7,800 m2) in Nieuw Vennep and Parkwijk (5,500 m2) in Utrecht.

The French assets are La Croix Blanche retail centre in Saint Geneviève des Bois (GLA 6,600 m2) and the 10.600 m2 office building Clair de Ville in Rueil Malmaison.

Corio has some €7 bn of assets under management. The company announced recently that it plans to dispose of about 20% of its portfolio, valued at €1.4 bn, over the next three to four years as it focuses on its Favourite Meeting Places (FMP) strategy across its pan-European portfolio.
