Swiss real estate investor Corestate has opened a new office in Singapore as the company moves to expand its activities into Asia.
Corestate believes the move will leave it better placed to serve its existing investors from the Middle East and Asia, while also increasing its fundraising and investment efforts in the two regions.
The company’s founder Ralph Winter commented: ‘Asian real estate markets will become increasingly important contributors to global GDP, and regional investors even more active in global investments in real estate.’
‘We will therefore focus on stepping up our efforts to offer our investment products to those Asian institutional and private investors who are looking to diversify their portfolio by allocating capital to the European real estate market.'
