Corenet Global UK Chapter has announced the shortlist of candidates for its annual awards. The entries fall into four main categories: corporate real estate executive of the year sponsored by Segro, corporate real estate partnership award, innovation and sustainability award sponsored by hurleypalmerflatt and young person's essay award run in conjunction with Property Week and sponsored by Johnson Controls Global Workplace Solutions.

For the second year running, CoreNet Global's UK Chapter will also present an industry award for significant contribution. This award is given, at the UK Chapter's discretion, to an individual chosen from across the range of industry professions, based on strategy, operational excellence, advanced thinking and knowledge creation.
The nominees are Chris Kane (BBC), Rob Bullough (UBS) and John Killey (Citi) for the executive of the year award. The partnership of the year nominees are Wolseley/Cushman & Wakefield, Shell/Eurest and Honeywell/JLL/Arcadis. Ruth Standring (Standard Chartered Bank), Justing Snoxall (British Land) and Mike Hayes (PricewaterhouseCoopers) are in the competition for the innovation & sustainability award. Last, Angela Lui (Lambert Smith Hampton), Helen Casey (Legacy Portfolio) and Elena Kosseva (Monmouth Dean) compete for the young person’s essay award.
Irene Masterton from Shell International will chair the judging panel. The other members of the panel are Greg Koplick, David Corry (Turner & Townsend Europe), Christopher Hedley (IPD Global), Helen Letham, Roger Taylor (Learning & Skills Council) and Shelley Frost (Jones Lang LaSalle).
The winners will be announced on 30 June 2011 at the awards ceremony held in London, at the Artillery Gardens at the HAC.
