Northern European real estate investment and asset management firm Cording Real Estate has appointed Theo Soeters to the newly-created position of head of fund management as of 1 April 2018.
Based in Amsterdam, Soeters will be reporting to Rodney Bysh, CEO of Cording.
He will be responsible for fund management activities, which includes portfolio management, the alignment of investment processes, research and debt sourcing in Germany, the Netherlands and the UK. Furthermore, he will support the development of new investment products and strategies and contribute his network to raise new funds.
Soeters is a seasoned real estate investment management professional. He established ING REIM (later CBRE GI) in Paris between 2000 and 2008 and has been responsible for various local and pan-European funds. Following this, he established his own business in restructuring and refinancing in the Netherlands.
