Cording Real Estate Group has chosen Martin Schmidt to head up its seven-strong Berlin office, while announcing a raft of new appointments across Germany.

Schmidt was previously responsible for asset and property management in Berlin. Prior to joining Cording, he worked in strategic management at Main Asset Management GmbH.
As head of the Berlin office, Schmidt will be responsible for promoting Cording’s expansion within the capital.
Seraphine Leonhard will take over Schmidt’s former property management responsibilities in the Berlin office. She previously worked for Acrest Property Group and Strabag in Berlin.
Tamara Neururer will join the asset and property management team in Stuttgart. Prior to joining Cording, Neururer gained her real estate experience working at SÜDEWO, JLL, GC Capital Real Estate and Benecke-Kaliko AG.
Markus Bastian has been hired as a property and asset manager in the Dusseldorf office. He was formerly a property manager at Vereinigte Postversicherung AG.
