Commerz Real has appointed Nadia Eichelberger as global head of real estate office and industrial as of 1 September.
As the real assets subsidiary of Commerzbank announced, she will be responsible for the management of the national and international real estate portfolio of these two usage classes with a current value of around €11 bn.
To date the position had been held by Jens Böhnlein, global head of asset management and sustainability, in a dual capacity.
Eichelberger is joining the company from Branicks Onsite, the real estate management subsidiary of the Branicks Group (formerly DIC Asset), where she was most recently employed as head of the Frankfurt am Main branch and was also responsible for a portfolio comprising office and logistics properties.
The career to date of the graduate architect and real estate manager (EBS) has also included stints at Triuva Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft (Capital Management Company) and GE Real Estate.
'In addition to her management experience, Nadia Eichelberger has many years of expertise across the entire life and investment cycles of real estate,' said Henning Koch, chairman of the management of Commerz Real.
'She will make a significant contribution to the development of our office and logistics portfolio, and in particular with regard to the intelligent networking with renewable energies.'
