Frank Henes (46) has been appointed to the Management Board of Commerz Real, assuming responsibility for Risk Management and Information Technology. He succeeds Roland Potthast (48), who leaves the company after a career of more than 20 years with Commerzbank Group.

Henes will take up his new role on ! September 2010. He is currently head of the Real Estate Structured Finance area at HypoVereinsbank, which handles the real estate financing business of all the bank's divisions. Henes was previously responsible for the structured financing business and development loans for small and medium-sized enterprise clients and commercial real estate clients. In addition, he has been a member of the senior credit committee of HypoVereinsbank AG.
