The property arm of Natixis Global Asset Management, AEW Europe, has completed the acquisition on behalf of a joint venture of La Caisse des Dépôts, UMR and Foncière Ecureuil 2, of an office building in Nanterre, France, for EUR 193 mln. The preliminary agreement to buy the asset from private equity firm Colony Capital and French property company Bouygues Immobilier was first signed in February this year.

The preliminary agreement to buy the asset from private equity firm Colony Capital and French property company Bouygues Immobilier was first signed in February this year.

Located near the Rueil 2000 business district, this newly-developed office property provides around 36,500 m2 of office space and 628 parking spaces. It is fully let to oil group Total with a nine-year lease agreement. The transaction was financed by German banks DekaBank and Bayern LB.
