Property advisory firm Colliers is expecting to book between 20% to 30% annual growth in south-east Europe and plans to add offices in Macedonia and Bosnia, Jovan Jovica Jacovac, managing director of Colliers Serbia told PropertyEU TV at MIPIM.

The company soon expects to have 400 staff in the region, he said. Colliers claims to already be the biggest real estate adviser in the region, with 60% of the market in countries like Bulgaria, Serbia and Croatia.

There are some concerns that supply will be unable to meet the growing demand in the region, Jacovac said. 'But we don’t see that as a real threat, as we expect vacancy rates to stay at around 8% for the next couple of years.'
