Colliers International has launched a new hotels advisory department in Poland, led by Rafal Rosiejak, who has been appointed as director.
'We see great potential for the hotels sector in Poland and with the launch of this new service line we can lead the way. Rafal’s extremely rich experience will allow us to offer comprehensive consultancy in this field, whilst also expanding upon the range of services we offer clients,' said Monika Rajska-Wolinska, managing partner at Colliers Poland.
'In 2017, the hotel sector in Poland recorded its best-ever performance with transaction volumes reaching €340 mln. This amounts to a 7% market share in total investment volumes and we can expect this upward trend to continue as the number of projects in the pipeline or under construction increases, not only in Warsaw and Tricity, but also in other regional cities. Meanwhile, the demand for hotel services in Polish holiday resorts also shows a rising trend,' added Rajska-Wolinska.
Rosiejak has over 10 years’ experience in the hotels market in Poland, having been appointed general director of the Italian chain Domina Hotels & Resorts in 2004. His experience includes being responsible for the accommodation strategy and delivery for sponsors and fans of the UEFA Euro 2012 European Football Championship. He has also worked for FIFA in Zurich, as head of accommodation, organising the FIFA World Cup Russia 2018.
'Our extensive experience in the hotels sector will provide clients and business partners throughout Poland with the very best solutions, including access to some of the world's largest hotel chains, ensuring the efficient and rapid development of existing and newly created facilities,' concluded Rosiejak.
