International property adviser Colliers International has opened an office in Egypt to strengthen its operations in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).
Located in Cairo, the office will provide real estate advisory services to developers, end-users, owners and investors across the country.
Colliers said that the establishment of a new corporate office was a response to the long-term growth potential in North Africa's largest economy and built on the firm's work in Egypt over the last decade.
John Davis, CEO of MENA at Colliers International, added: 'Since we launched operations in the MENA region 20 years ago, Egypt has always been a key market for our clients. In recent years we’ve seen a significant increase in interest across the board in Egypt and with growing demand from our clients we believe now is the time to open a dedicated office in Cairo. We are confident that the new office will help our clients meet their objectives and highlights our belief in the long-term prospects of North Africa’s largest economy.'
Davis will oversee the Colliers International operations in Egypt alongside Ian Albert, regional director and head of valuations and advisory, and Stuart Gissing, regional director and head of retail and real estate management solutions.
