In his new role, Vanhanen will have overall leadership responsibility for Colliers’ strategic direction and continued business growth in Finland.

'Ari was the natural choice for this role. His commitment to embracing change and ability to generate new and better solutions to meet the needs of our clients and people mean that he’s well placed to lead our Finnish business,' said Chris McLernon, CEO, EMEA.

He joined Colliers in June 2019 as COO, bringing with him 20 years of experience in the information technology field, including ten years with Tieto as a business leader and member of the management team; and most recently country manager at Adven Oy, a provider of energy services.

Colliers has 12 offices across the country. On behalf of clients such as Sampo, Sponda and Kesko, the firm manages a portfolio of 10 million m2 of commercial, residential and retail assets including the recently opened iconic Mall of Tripla.
