International advisory firm Colliers has appointed Melinda Kovacs as new head of landlord office agency for Hungary in Budapest.
Kovacs started in the role at the beginning of June, replacing Michael Smithing. She was previously leasing manager and part of the management team of Skanska in Hungary, after spending several years at DTZ as an office agent.
At Colliers, Kovacs will be responsible for overseeing and building out landlord leasing activities including the leasing of Codic’s Green Court Office and Trigranit’s Millenium Gardens.
Outgoing manager Smithing has worked at Colliers for over 25 years, having been a managing partner for nine years. He was also responsible for launching Colliers current operations in Bratislava, Slovakia, and developed Colliers' regional green building advisory practice.
