Belgian listed property firm Cofinimmo has agreed to sell a number of office buildings located in the Antwerp and Brussels periphery as well as in the decentralised area of Brussels for over €80 mln, in line with the assets’ latest appraised value.
The sale of the office buildings is fully in line with Cofinimmo's strategy in the office segment, the company said. The buyer is Brody Projectontwikkeling & Investeringen.
The assets represent over 66,800 m2 of total surface area and include the Paepsem Business Park Anderlecht in outer Brussels, Veldkant 35 Kontich in the Antwerp periphery, Garden Square Wilrijk in the Antwerp periphery, Prins Boudewijnlaan 41 Edegem in the Antwerp periphery, Prins Boudewijnlaan 43 Edegem in the Antwerp periphery, and Park Hill Machelen in the Brussels periphery.
Jean-Pierre Hanin, CEO of Cofinimmo: ‘With these divestments, we further implement our strategy in the office segment. This consists in improving the overall balance of the office portfolio to the benefit of buildings located in the Brussels’ Central Business District.’
