Belgian REIT Cofinimmo has signed a preliminary agreement to divest the Souverain/Vorst 25 office building in Brussels to an unnamed foreign government for an undisclosed amount.
Cofinimmo said that it will retain ownership of the adjacent building, Souverain/Vorst 23 as it intends to convert that part of the 57,400 m2 complex into residential apartments.
The Souverain/Vorst 25 site will be vacated by its current occupant, AXA Belgium when the lease terminates in August 2017.
