Global real estate advisor CBRE has appointed Myles Clarke as managing director of its Irish business based in Dublin.
Clarke will join CBRE in mid-November following a career spent largely with RBS, where he was most recently chief operating officer of RBS Investment Bank in London. Other roles at the bank have included head global syndicate at RBS Investment Bank and co-head European syndicate, RBS markets & banking.
'Myles will be an excellent addition to our Ireland team,' said Ciaran Bird, managing director of CBRE, UK & Ireland.
'His impressive track record in leading high performing teams and his wealth of expertise in finance, property and technology insights, means he is ideally placed to spearhead the growth and development of our Ireland business.'
Since leaving RBS in 2016, Clarke has relocated back to Ireland and taken a sabbatical to focus on several projects of personal interest in the areas of finance, real estate and blockchain technology.
Myles will succeed Enda Luddy who will be stepping down from the role at the end of this year to take on a consultancy role within the business.
'This is a fantastic opportunity to join a great business and the best real estate advisory platform in the world,' said Clarke.
'I am looking forward to working with the exceptionally strong local team to build on their existing strong and successful track record and to assist in seizing opportunities to continue to diversify and enhance our service offering for domestic and international clients.'
