Listed Finnish property company Citycon has sold a shopping centre in the west of the country to a local investor.

Torikeskus Shopping Centre was sold for €14.7 mln. The shopping centre comprises a gross leasable area of 11,000 m2.

Located in the centre of Seinäjoki, Torikeskus is one of the Southern Ostrobothnia market’s main shopping centres.

'The Torikeskus deal is in line with Citycon’s strategy. We decided to sell the centre to recycle capital and concentrate on our core property portfolio. The centre has limited strategic value for us.' said Nils Styf, chief investment officer at Citycon.

Catella advised Citycon on the sale.
