Christoph Schumacher has been appointed deputy managing director of Union Investment Institutional Property with effect from 1 March. Schumacher will be responsible for fund structuring and customer care.
Christoph Schumacher has been appointed deputy managing director of Union Investment Institutional Property with effect from 1 March. Schumacher will be responsible for fund structuring and customer care.
Schumacher joins Union Investment from Generali Deutschland Group, where he has held senior positions since 2007 relating to indirect investments and the development of fund products for the insurance group. Alongside his function as head of indirect investments and structured products at Generali Deutschland Immobilien in Cologne, he was most recently managing director of Generali Deutschland Immobilien Verwaltungs and of Generali Immobiliare Asset Management, Luxemburg/Paris.
Schumacher joins a management team at Hamburg-based Union Investment Institutional Property that currently comprises Martin Eberhardt und Wolfgang Kessler.
