Christie + Co has been instructed to market the internationally-acclaimed 181-bedroom Columbus Hotel in the Principality of Monaco on behalf of its owners.
The property agent said that the luxury hotel has been brought back to the market after the resolution of widely publicised disputes between the four shareholders of the business. The two remaining shareholders, which include former F1 driver David Coulthard, are in full agreement regarding the future of the business and are actively involved in promoting its sale.
Situated in Fontvieille, close to Monaco's heliport and just minutes away from the Palace and the Casino, the hotel has become one of the most fashionable destinations in the Principality, since its opening in 2001, Christie + Co said.
David Rugg, chairman of Christie + Co, said: 'The Columbus is a well-established hotel which offers investors an amazing opportunity to own, not only an internationally-acclaimed business, but also one of the very few independently-owned hotels in the Principality.
'We are carrying out a professional sales process to allow those interested to table a bid whilst maintaining full confidentiality.'
