Christie + Co establishes Irish brokerage service

Hotel specialist adviser Christie + Co is set to grow its Dublin team following the recruitment of Dave Murray as head of brokerage.

Working in conjunction with Christie + Co’s network of international offices, the company’s Dublin office, headed by Maureen Bayley will continue to focus on serving its diverse client base of investors, banks, funding bodies, operators, receivers, as well as building new relationships with clients for Christie + Co’s operational, transactional and valuation advice.

Dave Murray joins the firm from Ulster Bank where he spent over three years working on the Project Nadal hotel loan and property portfolio disposal in addition to managing a portfolio of high risk and defaulted connections with secured assets in the property sector.

Prior to his banking days, Dave worked with CBRE both in Dublin and London focusing on brokerage, advisory and valuations. Dave was also contracted to AIB as co-project leader to project manage the valuation process and transfer of their property loan book to NAMA.
