Advisor BNP Paribas Real Estate announced on Wednesday that it has been recruited by JD Logistics, part of China's e-commerce and technology company JD.com, to lead the Chinese firm's business expansion across Europe.
The BNP Paribas Real Estate European Logistics Advisory Leasing Team lead by Oliver Wissel will be in charge of providing pan European acquisition services to support the future expansion strategy in Europe, including new fulfilment sites and logistics hubs.
JD Logistics is a major provider for integrated supply chain logistics services. The company served more than 79,000 corporate customers in 2022 across a wide range of industries, including fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), apparel, home appliances, home furniture, 3C, automotive and fresh food products. As of June 30, 2023, JD Logistics operated over 1,600 warehouses.
