Germany's Deka Immobilien has divested a major distribution centre in Oostrum, in the municipality of Venray in the southern Netherlands.
According to the Dutch Land Registry, JD Property Holding, the real estate arm of the Chinese e-commerce giant Jingdong, acquired the asset in April for €54.5 mln. Hong Kong-headquartered Jingdong has an office in the Netherlands in the Van Nelle Factory in Rotterdam.
Subsequently, in September, the property was transferred to Bright Future Venray, a Dutch entity of JD Property.
The distribution centre comprises 53,235 m2 of industrial space and 3,200 m2 of offices. The tenant is Flextronics, a company headquartered in Singapore, which focuses on assembling, packaging and shipping electronics for third parties.
