Deutsche Pfandbriefbank declined to comment.
Thaker left Deutsche Pfandbriefbank at the end of January after a 20-year career with the bank. His responsibilities were taken over by board member Bernhard Scholz on an interim basis.
Balch joined pbb's forerunner Hypo Real Estate Bank International in 2003 and previously worked for Aareal Bank as head of global clients.
