Cushman & Wakefield has promoted James Chapman to lead its EMEA capital markets team.
He will work with Jan-Willem Bastijn, chair of EMEA capital markets, and James Young, head of EMEA investor services, to build out Cushman & Wakefield’s service offering to investor clients.
Chapman has been with the firm for more than 20 years based out of several offices across Europe. He has led the firm’s activity advising on cross-border EMEA investments in the logistics & industrial sector and has acted on more than €8.5 bn of transactions in the past three years.
Commenting on Chapman’s promotion, Young said: ‘James’s strategic thinking is a huge asset both to Cushman & Wakefield and to our investor clients. It is the right time for him to take on leadership of the team, and I look forward to working closely with him in his new role.’
