Chagala, the London-listed Kazakh real estate developer and operator, has announced the appointment of Edmund Christopher Pery, Earl of Limerick as a non-executive director.

Chagala, the London-listed Kazakh real estate developer and operator, has announced the appointment of Edmund Christopher Pery, Earl of Limerick as a non-executive director.

Pery is a partner at Altima Partners, managing the Altima Central Asia Fund hedge fund with direct investments into businesses in Kazakhstan, Tajikstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Georgia. Altima is one of Chagala's largest shareholders. Chagala said Pery has also extensive experience as a solicitor in the Commonwealth of Independent States.

He was formerly a senior Vice President at Dubai International Capital, and a director for Deutsche Bank in Dubai and London.
