Valencia-based household appliances manufacturer Cecotec is diversifying and entering the Spanish real estate sector with plans to invest €100 mln over five years.
The company has set up the Cecohomes brand and already acquired land to build flats and single-family homes.
The first project is the Residencial Nautilius development, with 14 single-family homes located in Denia near Alicante (Costa Blanca), five minutes from the beach.
Construction work has already started and the project will deliver detached single-family homes ranging between 250 m2 and 390 m2, with open and luminous spaces, garden and private swimming pool.
The houses stand out for their careful and exclusive exterior and interior design, with large windows and white concrete overhangs, porches and different architectural volumes that connect the interior with the exterior.
The company will also build a residential complex of 136 build-to-rent homes and another development with five detached houses with swimming pool, both in Torrent (metropolitan area of Valencia).
César Orts, Cecotec CEO, said: ‘Just as Cecotec has brought technology to every home, the philosophy of Cecohomes is also to democratise housing by creating unique, quality homes, always at an honest price. In this way we can define the Cecohomes product as affordable luxury: homes with designs, finishes, features, qualities and services, hitherto known as high standing, at an honest price.’
