Paul Coates has left CBRE after nearly five years with the firm.
The former head of real estate at Royal Bank of Scotland joined CBRE in April 2018 as head of debt advisory and structured finance.
He told contacts he was excited to move on to explore new ventures after five tremendous years with CBRE.
‘It was a privilege to lead the EMEA Debt Advisory business, and I leave it in fine fettle,' he said. 'Firmly established at the top of its market helping clients, with some talented and passionate people to continue the growth trajectory we set.'
He added: '2023 and beyond sets a new paradigm for the real estate market and business more generally with the shifting axes of the higher interest rate market, the criticality of sustainability (all of ES and G), the near term economic outlook and the hybrid working evolution.’
