Consultancy and management services for corporate end-users will be one of the fastest-growing activities for CB Richard Ellis in Europe in the coming years, Michael Strong, president EMEA at CBRE, told PropertyEU in an interview at Mipim.

The property adviser currently derives 45% of its revenues from corporate services in the US, compared with 15% in Europe. Strong said he expected to boost the European figure to 30% of total revenues over the next few years.

CBRE topped PropertyEU's ranking of leading European advisers in 2009, based on investment volume. However, at the time PropertyEU carried out its survey, CBRE said it was actively seeking to boost revenues from sources other than investment transactions in the wake of the economic downturn. Corporate outsourcing and debt advisory services are key targets in that growth strategy.
