CBRE has appointed Heriberto Teruel and Julián Labarra as directors at its corporate finance practice in Spain, PropertyEU has learned.

'The real estate corporate sector in Spain is still highly indebted and very fragmented, although it now begins a new cycle based on consolidation, recapitalisation and with an openness to global markets,' said Adolfo Ramírez-Escudero, managing director of CBRE Spain. 'In this context, CBRE’s commitment to strengthen its activity in the corporate finance practice with a professional team with extensive experience in this area is consistent with what our customers need and demand from us as qualified leading advisors.'

Teruel and Labarra will be members of CBRE Spain's capital markets division. They have over 25 years of experience in real estate corporate finance, working with firms such as Genery Advisory or N+1 before joining CBRE.
