Deutsche Bank’s property finance director Steve Williamson is moving to CBRE as the new head of debt origination for the UK and EMEA in the broker's real estate finance division.
Williamson joins from Deutsche Bank’s commercial real estate finance team where he spent 14 years, including three years running the origination desk at Eurohypo, when the bank was a subsidiary of Deutsche Bank.
Most recently as head of UK origination, he structured loans for a range of property companies and institutions both in the UK and Europe.
Prior to Deutsche Bank, Williamson spent almost eight years at Hypo Real Estate Bank International, the trading name for the now nationalised Deutsche Pfandbriefbank, where he was responsible for growing the real estate senior debt origination platform.
Steve Williamson’s appointment follows the recent hires of Clarence Dixon as chief operating officer and Gerard Nation as head of primary servicing in CBRE’s loan servicing division.
