CBRE has named Alex Andel as EMEA head of client solutions in its global corporate services team following two years as regional strategist.
In his new role, Andel will be responsible for driving growth in CBRE's corporate services business across the EMEA region, overseeing contract tenders and renewals.
He joined CBRE's Seattle office in 2002, and in eight years in the US held a number of roles which involved providing corporate clients with strategic advice on complex real estate issues.
Andel moved to London in early 2011 to become EMEA regional strategist. He has 17 years' experience in the property industry, having spent six years at the start of his career at US developer Hines where he led the leasing operations for a number of class A projects.
Andel replaces Andrew Hallissey, who after five years as EMEA head of client solutions will now lead CBRE's client solutions team in the Asia-Pacific region.
