CB Richard Ellis has announced the promotion of Jean-Francois Laporte and Martin Thom as joint heads of department for the Hotels Consultancy team for Central and Eastern Europe. Jean-Francois Laporte who joined CBRE in 2006 has been working in the hotel industry for 10 years and was previously employed by Accor in the UK.

Martin Thom has joined CBRE Hotels CEE from CBRE' Glasgow office as an Associate Director where he was a member of the Professional Services team. His previous role involved providing commercial valuation advice and reports to a wide range of banks, property companies and institutional investors including; RBS, HBOS, AWG and Anglo Irish Bank, across a wide range of property sectors.
