CBRE has appointed Chris Ludeman as global president of its capital markets team.
In this role, Ludeman will oversee the global growth and integration of CBRE's Capital Markets Services business line.
CBRE said it is poised to further grow its capital markets business as investment capital is increasingly allocated on a global basis. 'In today’s global market environment, investors are increasingly seeking service providers that have the scale and resources to advise and execute on cross-border investment strategies,' said Mike Lafitte, COO of CBRE. 'Chris Ludeman will help us take full advantage of this trend.'
Ludeman will work closely with CBRE’s capital markets leaders around the world to plan and execute a growth strategy. He is a 33-year veteran of CBRE, having started as a sales trainee in 1980.
Most recently, he has served as president of the capital markets business in the Americas. Before that, he ran CBRE’s brokerage business in the Americas.
