Pablo Callejo has been appointed head of real estate investment banking (REIB) for CBRE’s operational real estate (OPRE) business within Continental Europe.
Callejo, who will continue to lead the real estate investment banking team in Spain, will take on the additional responsibility of building CBRE’s expertise and market share across the growing operational real estate sectors, with a focus on healthcare, student housing, co-living and senior living.
He will be working closely with CBRE’s REIB and OPRE leads across Continental Europe on corporate finance and M&A transactions, including Tariq Hayat, who recently joined from KPMG to lead REIB transactions for OPRE in the UK.
