Quinlan Private has appointed CB Richard Ellis (CBRE) to manage Neumarkt Galerie in Cologne. The 32,441-m2 centre is anchored by Karstadt Sports and is famous for its striking architecture.
The centrally located Neumarkt Galerie is one of Cologne’s major landmarks, its exterior crowned with a large 'dropped' ice cream cone sculpture which measures more than nine metres high. The shopping centre covers three levels and contains 65 shops, which include a range of international brands, restaurants and cafes.
Nigel Biggs, head of Property and Asset management, CBRE EMEA, said: 'Clients are now beginning to see the clear benefits of streamlining management of their properties across Europe. Over the past few years we have developed our cross-border property management capability and already manage a number of Quinlan’s properties in Europe including Diagonal Mar, Barcelona. CBRE has also been appointed sole letting agent for Neumarkt Galerie, which will give us the ability to really add value to the scheme.'
