The higher number of agents employed by CBRE suggests that the company focuses not only on deal making and brokerage services. Interestingly, CBRE was unable to provide information exclusively for Europe: the figure refers to activities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Nevertheless, it may be assumed that the bulk of the firm’s investment volume is in fact generated in Europe - which in our definition also includes the UK. Given the size and transparency of the UK market, it comes as no surprise that several UK-based firms dominate the top-10.
