Global real estate services provider CBRE has appointed Helena Rickmers (31) as the new head of hotel investment in Germany.
As of 1 July, Rickmers is responsible for advising on the purchase and sale of hotel properties. Rickmers has worked for CBRE since 2017. She reports directly to Fabian Klein, head of investment at CBRE in Germany.
'I am very pleased that with Helena Rickmers, we can fill the position perfectly from within our own ranks. She has extensive expertise and transaction experience and will further expand our hotel transaction business,' said Klein.
'Now that the hotel industry has recovered well from the pandemic and the general crisis in the property market is slowly abating, interest in hotel transactions is growing again.
'I look forward to capitalising on this positive trend together with the team,' added Rickmers.
