Pople joined CBRE IM in 2009 and has since spent 15 years building on his experience in logistics transactions, asset management and development, while overseeing relationships with key external service providers.

Most recently, he worked as a senior fund manager at CBRE IM and as a member of the UK direct leadership team, with a focus on executing direct strategies for a range of separate account clients, as well as the operational performance of the UK business.

As EMEA logistics asset operations lead (a role formerly known as platform property lead), Pople will be responsible for optimising asset management operations.

He will work closely with CBRE IM’s logistics asset management teams across Europe to develop and implement a pan-European strategy for the management, acquisition, and disposal of logistics properties, with a focus on enhancing both investment and sustainability performance. He will also be responsible for managing relationships with the firm’s third-party service providers.

'Chris’ promotion to EMEA Logistics Asset Operations Lead is an excellent indicator of the depth and breadth of talent across our existing team,' said Laurie Lagarde, head of EMEA logistics operator division at CBRE IM.

'With his strong operational capabilities and sector experience, Chris will be crucial in helping to deliver the consistently high standards that our market-leading logistics operator platform is known for,' added Lagarde.
