CBRE Investment Management has appointed Yann L’Hostillier as residential transaction manager in France. Based in Paris, he will be responsible for residential acquisitions.
Gautier Beurnier, country manager and head of transactions for France at CBRE Investment Management said: 'I’m delighted to welcome Yann to the team here in France and his arrival reinforces our ambitions to grow our residential platform sector in the country.
'His appointment will allow us to better serve our investors who seek investment opportunities in this structurally under-supplied resilient asset class. He is a great addition to the firm.'
CBRE IM has strong conviction in the residential sector and seeks investments that align with the key demographic trends across Europe’s larger urban areas where there is an opportunity to create positive social outcomes as well as solid performance.
L’Hostillier's appointment underscores the firm’s aim to grow its residential platform as he will be focusing on sourcing residential deals and building out CBRE IM’s residential presence in France.
He has 15 years residential experience. He began working in the social housing sector and has also worked as a real estate agent for Dauphine Rive Gauche Group. Since 2016 he has been an investment manager at SOFIDY (Tikehau Capital Group) the real estate asset management company.
Recently, CBRE IM has expanded the wider EMEA transaction team with the strategic hire of Jan-Willem Bastijn as head of EMEA transactions and the appointment of Krijn Taconis as head of transactions in the Netherlands.
