CBRE Hotels has made two senior appointments to its London-based EMEA hotel brokerage team.

CBRE Hotels has made two senior appointments to its London-based EMEA hotel brokerage team.

Paul Collins joins as head of hotels brokerage UK & Ireland and Dominic Murray as senior director to lead the sale of larger single asset and crossborder portfolio transactions.

Collins has worked for CBRE Hotels since 2001 and joins the London team from Dublin. CBRE said that he will reinforce the global capital flows that have come to dominate the Ireland market. The top two Dublin hotels sold in the last 12 months by Collins and his team – the Morrison and the Burlington – were both acquired by overseas purchasers. Using London as a base will allow Collins greater access to his increasingly international client base, CBRE said.

Murray previously enjoyed worked for CBRE Hotels for eight years during which time he was responsible for hotel transactions worth an estimated €3.7 bn, He rejoins the team following four years working in the hospitality real estate market in the Caribbean.
