Agent CBRE has appointed Chiara Zuccon as a senior director to spearhead debt origination within its development and residential investment team.
Zuccon joins CBRE from the Royal Bank of Scotland where she was head of private rented sector (PRS) and was responsible for the deployment of £1 bn of senior lending across the UK.
In her new role, she will work jointly with CBRE’s UK development team, which is led by Peter Burns and Zoe Bignell, and the debt and structured finance team, led by Paul Coates, to help clients across the residential capital markets and development land teams source and structure their debt requirements.
Her appointment marks the latest in a number of high-profile corporate finance professionals who have moved into a specialist advisory role at the real estate firm. This includes Richard Day, most recently, who is driving debt origination and advisory within CBRE’s London Investment team, along with Coates himself who moved from RBS earlier this year.
