CBRE has appointed Michael Matthews to a senior role in its EMEA Cross Border Retail team.
Matthews joins the business from CBRE Global Investors, where he has spent the past two years as European commercial director of retail, responsible for managing retailer relationships across 80 shopping centres in 18 European countries.
Prior to this, he worked for Apple Inc. and VF Corp. the owner of Timberland, Vans and The North Face, where he was part of the teams responsible for delivering their store expansion programmes across the EMEA region.

Matthews will be based in London and work across the region, as well as with CBRE’s America’s and Asia-Pac teams.
