He joins from Russian real estate developer MR Group where he was a managing partner. Prior to that, Pinaev held senior positions for JLL Russia & CIS and was involved in a wide variety of sectors and real estate disciplines.

Most notably, he was managing director of JLL’s Russian agency and corporate advisory businesses, where he helped establish the firm’s local capital markets and consulting and valuation service lines.

Pinaev will take up his new position on 7 July, replacing current CEO Alexander Polenok who has left CBRE to pursue other business ventures.
