CBRE Global Investors has made a number of appointments to its EMEA leadership team in a bid to streamline the development of its pan-European real estate investment management strategies and operations.

CBRE Global Investors has made a number of appointments to its EMEA leadership team in a bid to streamline the development of its pan-European real estate investment management strategies and operations.

Dennis van Vugt, former senior officer of ING REIM Europe, has been appointed as the Chief Financial Officer / Chief Operations Officer for CBRE Global Investors EMEA. He will succeed Maurice Voskuilen who has been named Global Chief Financial Officer/Chief Administrative Officer (CFO/CAO) for CBRE Global Investors.

He will report to Pieter Hendrikse, the CEO of CBRE Global Investors EMEA and to the CFO/CAO of CBRE Global Investors. In his role, Van Vugt will be responsible for managing finance and operations, which includes corporate as well as business finance functions, IT applications, legal, compliance and tax.

Giles King will become head of Investor Services for CBRE Global Investors EMEA. The investor services team is responsible for investor relations, equity raising, targeting of new investors and providing investor know-how to create successful investment strategies in the EMEA region with a global connection.

King was previously executive managing director and head of UK for CB Richard Ellis Investors. In his new role, he will reinforce the focus on client service under the new CBRE Global Investors brand and help grow the client base in an ever-expanding and competitive institutional investment market.

Jean Lamothe has been appointed as country manager UK, with responsibility for growing the UK business, focusing on the integration of the merged organisation in the UK and the existing value-add business in EMEA. He will be a member of the EMEA Executive Committee, which now consists of Pieter Hendrikse, Dennis van Vugt, Giles King, Jean Lamothe, Will Rowson (CIO), Jose Antonio Martín Borregon (Country Manager, Spain) as well as Hans Copier (Country Manager, the Netherlands).
